Nathan Brown

Nathan's career as a landscape architect began as an award-winning student at Virginia Tech and has since afforded him many opportunities to dabble in just about every facet of the profession. But his real passion is working on projects that seek to reveal a landscape vernacular, be it agricultural, urban, rural or institutional. The cultural landscape is also of great interest in his work, as it yields many clues that assist in translating the different layers of the landscape into a cohesive design.

Outside of the profession, he spends most of his time serving with his wife in their local church. He is also an avid fisherman and is busy converting his wife to a fly fisher-woman so that they can spend more time on the water in the future.
